Detroit Lions tight end Luke Willson doesn’t know his future with the team—he becomes a free agent in just over a month—but he feels pretty strongly about the direction of the franchise.
A few weeks ago the Lions hired Darrell Bevell as their next offensive coordinator. Bevell comes to Detroit after taking a year off following a seven-year stint as the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. During those seven years, Willson was a Seahawk for five of them, and he’s a big fan of Bevell.
“He’s the man,” Willson said according to the Detroit Free Press.
