Just a few weeks out from training camp, the Detroit Lions offensive line holds the top spot in Pro Football Focus’s rankings.
This certainly isn’t the unit’s first time atop the list over the past few years, but there have been times where they’ve dropped to second or third.
“When healthy, the Lions’ offensive line was arguably the best unit in the NFL last season. Right tackle Penei Sewell was the league’s highest-graded offensive lineman, and Frank Ragnow earned the top spot among centers,” PFF’s Zoltán Buday writes.
Back in January, the Lions came in second in Buday’s final 2023 offensive line rankings, so it’s likely their offseason moves helped push Detroit back into the top spot—combined with the retirement of Eagles center Jason Kelce.
