To celebrate the start of the 2024 NFL season, the Detroit Lions are hosting a drone show downtown Detroit on Saturday.
The Lions-themed show is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. ET Saturday about 400 feet above Ford Field, launched from John R and Adams St. Attendees are asked to stay southeast of Madison Street for safe viewing. The event depends on the weather, so keep your eyes on the forecast and check the Lions’ social media pages for updates.
The last drone show was held January 27—the day before the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.
