An afternoon meant for fun ended in tragedy when two people were shot and killed during a Detroit Lions tailgate at Eastern Market.
The shooting actually happened following the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers around 4:30 p.m. at Eastern Market in Detroit, the most well-known spot for Lions tailgating.
Detroit police say two men got into a fight when one pulled out a gun, firing at least two shots. The first man died Sunday evening, and the other succumbed to his injuries Monday. The shooter was arrested and taken into custody — there are no further details at this time.
