ALLEN PARK -- New England won 13 games last year. And 14 games the year before that. And 12 games in each of the four seasons before that.
In fact, going back to 2003, they only missed the playoffs once -- and they went 11-5 that season. They won at least 10 games in all those seasons.
Which means they never lost more than six.
And that means Matt Patricia has never lost this many games in his NFL career.
He joined the Patriots in 2004 as an offensive assistant, then worked his way up the coaching ranks before finally taking over as defensive coordinator in 2012.
