ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions are already without two offensive tackles because of injuries, and Greg Robinson was unable to participate in team stuff when camp opened because of an injury he suffered away from the team.
Now the Lions have lost yet another offensive tackle -- this one, to retirement.
The club announced Monday afternoon that it has moved Tony Hills to the retired list. Hills signed with Detroit this offseason in the wake of the injury to left tackle Taylor Decker.
Detroit replaced Hills on the 90-man roster by signing Nick Becton, who has had stints with the Chargers, Giants, Saints and Bears in a nomadic four years as a pro.
