Lions LB Levy active, first game since Week 1

DETROIT -- For the first time since Week 1, the Lions will have their best linebacker on the field.

DeAndre Levy has been declared active for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, the first time since the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts that he will play.

Since Levy signed a four-year contract extension during training camp in 2015, he has missed all but one and a half games with hip and knee injuries. In his place, the Lions have used a combination of Tahir Whitehead in 2015 along with Josh Bynes, Antwione Williams and the since-traded Kyle Van Noy in 2016.
