DeAndre Levy spent the past year taking a stand for women’s rights. Now he’s added a march to the issue he’s taken on.
The Detroit Lions linebacker posted Saturday on Instagram that he would be at the Women’s March, joining the estimated millions of marchers worldwide to protest in the name of women’s rights. It wasn’t completely clear which march Levy was at Saturday, although he did post he was at one.
This is the latest step for Levy in taking up the cause of women’s rights. He posted his Instagram story wearing his black “Our Issue” shirt -- the same shirt he used as a fundraiser last year to help raise money to get forgotten rape kits tested in Detroit.
