The Detroit Lions announced on Friday they have signed nine of their ten picks from the 2016 NFL Draft class. The one player missing? Alabama defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson.
No word yet if there's a holdup in negotiations or if there is something else delaying the Robinson signing, but at this point there is no real reason for concern. Although the second-round pick will likely miss the beginning of rookie minicamp -- which begins on Friday -- there's no reason to believe Robinson will hold out. The new collective bargaining agreement has made rookie contracts a formality at this point, so expect the deal to get done shortly.
