The Detroit Lions returned to practice on Wednesday, heading inside to prepare for Sunday’s finale against the Minnesota Vikings. While we already know the Vikings will be missing a key piece with Dalvin Cook already ruled out for Sunday, it’s still not clear how the Lions will approach Week 17.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford is now dealing with three different injuries after suffering an ankle sprain on Saturday against the Buccaneers. Stafford missed Wednesday’s practice, and interim head coach Darrell Bevell said it’s something they’ll just monitor throughout the week.
“Some of the other injuries are resolving, so we’ll see how this injury on his ankle resolves as well by the end of the week,” Bevell said.
