In Week 15, Matthew Stafford only practiced once—a brief moment on a Friday after suffering a painful rib injury. He would end up playing that week, and putting up one of his best performances of the year against the Tennessee Titans.
This week appears to be progressing similarly. After suffering a ankle injury that took him out of Saturday’s game against the Buccaneers, Stafford did not practice on Wednesday, but was listed as limited on Thursday, despite interim head coach Darrell Bevell saying he would be out. Still, Bevell showed he was pretty optimistic about the Lions franchise quarterback giving it a go this week.
