Earlier on Friday, Detroit Lions head coach Darrell Bevell said that Matthew Stafford would miss his final practice of the week, but would not rule him out for Sunday. Turns out the outlook for the Lions quarterback may be a little better than that.
Per the team’s final injury report of the week, Stafford was actually limited in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. This suggests Stafford is already testing out his mobility, functioning and pain management in the wake of his rib injury, which was described earlier in the week as “unbelievably” painful.
