The Detroit Lions are in the middle of a stretch of 12 days in which they’ll play three regular season games. As a result, head coach Matt Patricia elected to make Wednesday’s practice a walkthrough, as they prepare for Sunday’s contest against the Carolina Panthers.
Despite it being a light practice, a few Lions starters were not participating after suffering injuries in last week’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Marvin Jones Jr. did not practice, which reflects Adam Schefter’s report that the Lions receiver suffered a bone bruise and is considered day-to-day.
