LONDON, England - Last year, the Detroit Lions played their International Series game at Wembley Stadium without their best receiver. This year, they'll be down one of their best cornerbacks.
Starting cornerback Rashean Mathis is inactive today despite being listed as probable on the team's Friday injury report with an illness.
Mathis, who did not finish last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings because he was being evaluated for a brain injury that he was cleared from, practiced every day this week and met with the media in London on Wednesday.
He was limited in practice Thursday and Friday because of a bug that hit several other players on the team, including linebacker Stephen Tulloch.
