Two sessions into the team’s off-season workout program, new Detroit Lions strength coach Harold Nash Jr. has made an impression on his players.
“A little more intense,” safety Glover Quin said Tuesday. “A little more focused on certain details. But it’s good work. I love hard work. I’ve always felt like working hard is the way to go. So I don’t shy away from it.”
Nash took over from longtime strength coach Jason Arapoff this winter and helped oversee a renovation of the Lions’ weight room and a revamp of their training program.
He declined to detail his philosophies earlier this month, but several players went on Twitter on Tuesday to discuss what appeared to be a fierce leg workout.
