ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The difference is in the sleep.
That took the Detroit Lions by surprise last season when the team traveled to London for a game against the Atlanta Falcons. For some, it took a couple of days to adjust. Others felt like they never adapted to being on the other side of the Atlantic for a football game.
So they are hoping that experience will help them this time around when they head to London this week to face Kansas City.
“[I settled in] when we got back,” defensive end Darryl Tapp said.
