For the third straight year, the Lions are raising the price of season tickets.
In an email to season-ticket holders Tuesday, president Rod Wood said fans would see a “modest price increase” when they checked their invoice. Wood’s message also claimed the price of Lions season tickets is, on average, still in the bottom third of the NFL.
Season tickets now range in price from $399 in the Roar Zone to $2,238 for premium seats.
A Lions spokesman declined comment about the price hike, instead referring to the email.
The Lions home opponents in 2016 are Philadelphia, Washington, Jacksonville, Tennessee and Los Angeles as well as their NFC North rivals, Green Bay, Chicago and Minnesota.
