The Cardinals liked him. They wanted to sign him to the 53-man roster.
Seems like a no-brainer, right? The chance to play on Sundays -- and all the money that comes with it -- sounds a whole let better than spending another week running scout team looks? Right? Right?
Bueller?
Nope.
Instead, Valles turned down Arizona so he could stay on Detroit's practice squad.
"You can't fake energy, you know? And I just felt I was in the right place," he said.
