Indianapolis – While things are always subject to change, DeAndre Levy is in the Detroit Lions’ plans for 2017 as of now.
The linebacker, who was one of the best players at his position in 2013 and 2014, has struggled to get on the field the past two seasons. He played just a handful of snaps in 2015, limited by a hip injury suffered during a training camp practice. Last year, a non-football knee injury and quad injury suffered in the season opener sidelined him 12 games.
When he returned to the lineup at the end of the season, Levy didn’t show the same burst or playmaking ability, but everyone in the organization continues to state publicly they expect him to return to his former form.
