INDIANAPOLIS – The 2012 NFL draft already has gone down as one of the best in history, in part because of a defensive line class that included Pro Bowlers J.J. Watt, Marcell Dareus and Robert Quinn.
This year’s draft, though not nearly as star-studded overall, could rival that group in terms of defensive line talent.
Several prospects at this week’s NFL combine have mentioned Watt’s class as one they’re collectively taking aim at, and Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Vernon Butler said Saturday he expects it to go down as “one of the best D-line classes coming out.
