The Detroit Lions started their preparation for the New York Giants on Wednesday. However, they remained without a few key pieces of the team.
Most notably, Darius Slay did not practice on Wednesday after aggrivating his hamstring injury from earlier in the season. Slay left Sunday’s game against the Vikings in the first half and did not return for the remainder of the game. Slay made an appearance at practice on Wednesday, but obviously did not go through any drills.
Additionally, fullback Nick Bawden and defensive tackle Mike Daniels did not practice.
