DETROIT -- The Detroit Lions traded for Haloti Ngata hoping he would be able to replace some of the impact of the loss of Ndamukong Suh.
Up until Sunday, it had not really worked out. Ngata had been largely hurt for most of the 2015 season, missing the last two-plus games with a calf injury.
He returned Sunday against Minnesota and had an immediate impact. The defensive tackle was credited with 1.5 sacks in the first half against the Vikings -- his first sacks as a Lions player and, perhaps notably, his first multi-sack game in a long time.
