Lions defense holds on 2-point conversion: 'They ain't getting this (bleep)'

DETROIT -- High up in a Ford Field suite, Marvin Jones had the same reaction of so many fans around him.

"They went for two? That's beyond me," the injured Lions receiver said incredulously.

No kidding.

Kenny Golladay had just fully extended for a touchdown catch that gave the Lions a 20-13 lead with 5:19 left. But the Panthers came right back at them, and D.J. Moore skied over Darius Slay for what appeared to be the game-tying score with 1:07 left.

Only, Carolina coach Ron Rivera elected to go for the 2-point conversion instead.
