Linebacker DeAndre Levy is going to be a Detroit Lion for the foreseeable future.
One day after Lions general manager Martin Mayhew talked about the importance of keeping Levy, the team and Levy agreed on a new four-year contract. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Levy was entering the final year of a three-year, $9.7 million deal he signed back in 2013. It's expected that he received a considerable and well-deserved raise.
A third-round pick by the Lions out of Wisconsin back in 2009, Levy has developed into one of the best 4-3 outside linebackers in the NFL.
