Anthony Zettel's goal for 2017 is pretty simple.
"Just be more of a playmaker," Zettel said earlier this spring. "It’s not no statistical goal, but just be more of a playmaker, be the guy that can go in there and make a big play when they need me."
As a rookie sixth-round pick, Zettel played sparingly in the Lions' rotation at defensive end last fall.
He appeared in 13 games and made 13 tackles, but also had one sack and a game-changing tap on a fumble recovery that helped the Lions to a come-from-behind win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
