The Detroit Lions returned to Allen Park on Sunday to reset after a busy week in New Jersey. Coach Dan Campbell said the purpose of Sunday’s practice was to get the team’s feet wet before bigger practices on Monday and Wednesday.
“Really prepping them for tomorrow,” Campbell said. “So, we’re going to get good work. But, it’s really over the next two practices after this is where the bulk of what we’re going to get is coming in. I like where we’re at.”
So on Sunday, we saw some one-on-one work, a lot of special teams, and some intriguing situational drills to close out practice.
