Damon Harrison is still a Detroit Lion for now, but his release is coming and he said Friday on Twitter the decision to part ways was "mutual."
"This release was a mutual agreement," Harrison wrote. "I'm not sure what the future holds for me but whatever it is that MF better be ready. Thank you Detroit!"
Harrison transformed the Lions defense into one of the stingiest in the NFL in the second half of the 2018 season, after the Lions acquired him in an October trade with the New York Giants.
