Lions complete their draft class with the signing of Kenny Golladay

ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions now have all their draft picks under contract after announcing the signing of Kenny Golladay on Monday morning.

Golladay, a receiver taken in the third round out of Northern Illinois, had been the lone holdout. That's not uncommon for players taken in that round. In the age of slotted contracts, most draft picks sign without fanfare or drama, but there's more wiggle-room for third-rounders.

The protracted negotiations did not stop Golladay from practicing, and practicing well. The 6-foot-4 wideout chewed up Detroit's reserve defenses during OTAs and minicamp, and heads into training camp as the odds-on favorite to replace Anquan Boldin as the third starting job behind Golden Tate and Marvin Jones.
