On the day after the incredible letdown Monday night, the Detroit Lions made a minor roster transaction. The team claimed Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Jamil Demby off waivers, after the Rams waived him to make room for Aaron Donald—who was on an exemption list prior to Week 1’s game against the Raiders.
Demby is not exactly the most athletic of offensive linemen:
However, the rookie out of Maine did make the Rams’ initial 53-man roster after being selected in the sixth round this year. Demby was a four-year starter at Maine, playing left tackle.
