ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions will be without their starting center Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Travis Swanson, who missed every practice this week with a brain injury, has been ruled out by the Lions as he continues to go through the NFL’s return-to-play concussion protocol.
The Lions declined to say when Swanson suffered the concussion -- he played every snap Sunday against New Orleans -- or when the third-year pro began exhibiting symptoms of being concussed.
