Lions address depth issues at tight end by signing ex-Falcon Levine Toilolo

ORLANDO, Fla. -- On Tuesday, Matt Patricia said the Detroit Lions' biggest need was at tight end. On Wednesday, they dame to terms with another tight end.

Detroit is signing veteran Levine Toilolo to a one-year deal, according to ESPN. The move less than a week after the club acquired Luke Willson. They'll combine with second-year pro Michael Roberts to replace the departed Eric Ebron and Darren Fells.

"I would say right now, if we had to go line up and play, we're probably short maybe at the tight end position," Patricia said Tuesday morning over breakfast at the NFL owners meetings in Orlando.
