Lions add DL Myles Adams, waive WR/PR Maurice Alexander in series of moves

Following a Thanksgiving game that saw more attrition on the defensive side of the ball, the Detroit Lions made a series of roster moves on Saturday, confirming several previously reported adjustments, while also releasing a few new transitions.

First, the Lions confirmed the reports that linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez and rookie defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo would be placed on injured reserve after suffering season-ending knee injuries against the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Additionally, with injuries to defensive linemen Josh Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike potentially keeping them out of the Lions' next game, Detroit needed to add depth to their front seven.
