DeAndre Levy took part in his fourth straight practice Tuesday, but the Detroit Lions may hold their top linebacker out of his 10th consecutive game Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Levy remains limited by a knee injury he suffered in a Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, and this week's shortened practice schedule is not expected to give him enough time to return to field.
The Lions did not practice on Monday and have only a light workout scheduled Wednesday.
Lions coach Jim Caldwell offered nothing substantial when asked if Levy will be available Thursday, and if a week of practice was enough time to get him ready after an extended absence.
