HOUSTON -- He had offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Marshall ... and Michigan State.
For Le'Veon Bell, a lightly recruited prospect out of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, the choice was obvious. He was going to be a Spartan.
But he arrived in East Lansing without much ballyhoo, and as an early enrollee, didn't have a typical signing day that other recruits enjoyed Wednesday.
"I was already kind of up there in college already, but I remember coming in and Coach (Mark Dantonio) talking about us and putting on highlights and things like that," Bell said Wednesday while working radio row at the Super Bowl.
