The Detroit Lions have joined the ranks of teams who’ll have all their rookies signed before minicamp.
First-round pick Laken Tomlinson put ink to paper on his four-year deal rookie deal Thursday morning that includes a team option for a fifth season. His deal is expected to worth a little more than $8 million, per the rookie wage scale.
The 28th pick in the draft, Tomlinson was acquired after the Lions moved back from the 23rd spot in a trade with Denver that also scored them veteran center/guard Manny Ramirez.
The Lions have revamped the interior of their offensive line with Travis Swanson at center in place of Dominic Raiola and Tomlinson expected to start at left guard in place of Rob Sims.
