Head coach Jim Caldwell wasn’t in the mood during his weekly Monday press conference to look back four days prior and rehash Detroit’s gut-wrenching loss to Green Bay last Thursday.
“Now, some of you will ask me some questions about last Thursday,” he said. “I’m not going back there, I’m going that way (pointing forward), forward-focused.
“It might not be appeasing to you or appealing to you, but the fact is that you have to get focused in on St. Louis in a hurry.”
Caldwell said he and his staff did the same self-evaluating they do after every game – win or lose – and that included the defensive call on the final Hail Mary play that was set up for a lateral play.
