Kerry Hyder's breakout season came with a nice financial reward.
Hyder, who went from roster long shot to the Detroit Lions' leader in sacks, received the team's' largest performance-based bonus payout in distributions announced by the NFL today.
Hyder, who had eight sacks while playing for the league-minimum salary last season, took home more than $264,082.
Cornerback Nevin Lawson ($261,672), offensive lineman Graham Glasgow ($216,886), center Travis Swanson ($173,188), defensive end Devin Taylor ($160,744) and cornerback Quandre Diggs ($154,176) were among the 13 Lions with six-figure payouts.
The NFL allocated $3.995 million per team for performance-based pay this year.
