Allen Park — As he did in discussing running back Joique Bell and right tackle LaAdrian Waddle last week, Lions coach Jim Caldwell declined to provide a timeline for defensive end Jason Jones to return from his knee injury.
Like Bell and Waddle, Jones will open camp on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery during minicamp in June.
Caldwell would not say how concerned he is about Jones' injury potentially holding him out at the start of the season.
"I'm concerned about anybody that's not practicing tomorrow," he said during a news conference Sunday.
