If today was Calvin Johnson’s final home game as a Detroit Lion, the best receiver in franchise history made it one for the memory bank.
Johnson caught six passes for 77 yards and scored the game-clinching touchdown on a 1-yard pass from Matthew Stafford with 9:04 to play as the Lions beat the San Francisco 49ers for their second straight victory, 32-17.
Johnson had one of his best games of the season – he had just one catch each of the last two weeks – as questions about his future persist amid his own declining production.
The Lions’ all-time leader in most receiving categories, Johnson has an enormous $24.
