INDIANAPOLIS -- Brian Callahan has been around football his whole life. He was a backup quarterback at one of the best high school football programs in the country. He was a walk-on quarterback at Division I UCLA.
And his father, Bill Callahan, has been a head coach for the Oakland Raiders and University of Nebraska. So the pedigree for the Detroit Lions' new quarterbacks coach is there. So is the praise.
"He did a tremendous job for us," Denver head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He had been there I think five years before I came in.
