When Jimmy Graham and the Green Bay Packers were given the game-sealing first down Sunday in the NFC divisional playoff game, Seattle Seahawks safety Lano Hill must have had a flashback.
Perhaps some Michigan football fans did too.
Let me explain.
With under two minutes to play and Green Bay leading 28-23, Hill tackled Graham after a catch on third-and-9, and was marked as gaining the first down. After a booth review, replays were inconclusive, allowing the call on the field to stand. Green Bay ran out the clock on a few kneel-downs to win and advance to the NFC championship game.
