ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell has been on hundreds of flights in his life. That’s the life of a coach, especially a college assistant working his way up the ranks.
And Caldwell did that for more than a decade. During that time, he had some flights that were a bit harrowing. When he was asked about this after Minnesota’s dicey trip to Appleton, Wisconsin, on Friday night, Caldwell shared one of his own rough airplane experiences.
“I’ve been traveling all my professional life on some airplane one way or another," Caldwell said.
