ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Jim Caldwell is on a two-game winning streak as Detroit Lions head coach -- his first such streak this season -- and Monday he had no interest in chatting about his job security.
Caldwell’s job is in question after the Lions started 1-7, resulting in the firings of team president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mayhew. Caldwell said last week he had not had discussions about his future with new Lions president Rod Wood.
Wood said whomever the Lions hire as general manager will have say over who the team’s head coach is for 2016 and beyond.
