Jeff Okudah, D’Andre swift among Detroit Lions to get new jersey numbers

It appears Detroit Lions rookies D’Andre Swift and Jeff Okudah finally have new jersey numbers. According to the team’s official website, Swift will be wearing number 32 this year, while cornerback Jeff Okudah has No. 30.

The two had to switch numbers from their training camp jerseys because of NFL rules. Swift’s No. 6 and Okudah’s No. 1 did not fall into the mandatory range for 20 to 49 for both defensive backs and running backs.

In addition to those two, a couple other Lions players made some small changes. Jayron Kearse went from 32 to 42, Julian Okwara went from 45 to 99 and Adrian Peterson will be keeping the No.
