DETROIT -- Jarrad Davis is back, back again. Jarrad Davis is back, tell a friend.
The rookie linebacker will return to the Detroit Lions for Sunday's showdown against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. He's missed the last two games while dealing with brain and neck injuries.
Davis was one of Detroit's top defensive players early in the season, especially against the run, and the run defense suffered without him. After allowing 45 yards against Arizona and 62 yards against New York with Davis, they allowed 151 yards against Atlanta and then 87 yards last week against Minnesota.
