After the Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 27-9, on Sunday, linebacker Jarrad Davis had few answers.
The Lions had played their brand of football for most of the first half: steady defense, ball-control offense and careful field-position strategy on special teams.
The Lions led, 9-0, in the second quarter. But the Minnesota Vikings scored two quick touchdowns in the final 1:32 of the first half and took a 14-9 lead into halftime.
