Detroit, MI—The Detroit Lions have named Jamie Grignon of Lincoln Park High School the week four recipient of the 2015 Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan High School Football Coach of the Week Program.
On September 18, Coach Grignon led his Railsplitters to an 18-15 victory over Wyandotte Roosevelt, ending a nine game losing streak to the Bears. Currently in the third year of his second stint as Lincoln Park’s head coach, Grignon has lead the program since 2013 when the Railsplitters ended their 66 game losing streak. During his 35 years of coaching, Grignon has also been a head coach at Southgate Aquinas from 1992-93 and Lincoln Park the first time from 1994-99.
