Is the Detroit Lions terrible play all Matt Patricia’s fault?

The Detroit Lions opened the regular season on Monday Night Football against the re-building New York Jets, who started a rookie quarterback, then promptly and shamelessly hammered their Motor City hosts.

It was painful and embarrassing. Quite frankly it has to make any self-respecting Lions fan want to find some other hobby that can actually bring joy and fulfillment to their life rather than watch yet another incantation of poor play from this franchise.

So I left town for a weekend getaway from the rigors of Detroit Lions football by heading over to the western side of the state and enjoying a little time on the shores of Lake Michigan and the congenial locals who call that their home.
