Ironman streak by Lions' Glover Quin in jeopardy

Allen Park — Lions safety Glover Quin has played in 95 straight regular-season games, battling through several injuries along the way.

If he wants to make it 96, Quin will likely have to play through pain again after suffering a left ankle injury in the Lions' Thanksgiving win over the Eagles.

"If my status would hurt the team, then I won't play," he said Sunday. "If I feel like I can go and it'll help the team, then I try to play."

Quin's ankle is feeling well enough that he decided not to wear a walking boot Sunday, though he did consider it.
