The Detroit Lions have been publicly quiet about their general manager search since team president Rod Wood said Sunday in Chicago that the team would start making requests to interview potential candidates Monday.
He said he would like the search completed and the new person hired as soon as possible.

Lions interim general manager Sheldon White, who has held the post since Martin Mayhew was fired on November 5, will interview Friday for the full-time gig according to ESPN Insiders Josina Anderson and Adam Schefter.
